Man arrested in Saba for growing marijuana

Officers of the Caribbean Netherlands Police Force KPCN in Saba arrested a 47-year-old man around 9:30am on Tuesday, February 22.

The police said Monday that the man C. A. P. was ar­rested in connection with the cultivation of hemp plants. KPCN did not provide more details about the arrest.

  1. Here we go again. The Netherlands allows smoking hemp, aka marijuana. They do NOT have a year round grow season. Saba does. The Saba government needs to wake up, make money, and reduce the Saban tax burden. A legal product in the “home” Netherlands country? And you bust someone for a few plants?

    Google Amsterdams coffee shops if you don’t believe. The Island is missing making some cash to help reduce Saban living expenses.
