This is great news. This island blows me away. Very grateful to be a part of it!!!

There are ALWAYS delegations from the Dutch government coming to visit the Caribbean islands during their cold months. We are continually getting surveys to fill out. We are being looked at and studied a bit like new species of animals. Then more consultants and interns and government officials come to look at us and ask the same questions. Some say they need to understand from the top down, some from need to understand from the bottom up. There are very nice articles written about their comings and goings. It is unclear if they care about our answers. It is often unclear if they are listening. We never get real answers to our questions. The process is sad and exhausting.

I have enjoyed Heleen’s painting classes when I visited Saba. Heleen is an amazing artist ! My best wishes to both Heleen and Tom.

I do not understand the minimum 10 bottles? Is that for businesses or personal orders!? Is this a new policy for personal orders?
It is very inconvenient to to all the way to the bottom to pay for water. Can this not be done on line??
Currently I order 3 bottles at a time.

The headline is hugely misleading. Only Dutch citizens will be eligible, not all island residents. And not businesses. It’s also unclear whether these will be ‘Euro’ accounts, which aren’t of much help on a USD denominated island. This progress (sic) doesn’t come close to the underwhelming announcement of bank accounts for Saba residents made by Hoekstra, last year.
