A Force for Change – Nurses Day 2016
Join the Nurses from Public Health Department Saba, Benevolent Foundation Saba, and Saba Health Care Foundation for this years Nurses Day Events! The celebrations have been spread over several days leading up to International Nurses Day; May 12th, a global event.
Saturday May 7th: Culture-Rama
4pm – 8pm
Juliana’s Sportsfield, The Bottom
The Culture-Rama is to show the many cultures of Nurses working on Saba. Various finger foods and drinks will be on sale.
The money is raised for the Laura Linzey Day Care Center as well as the After School Program which is coordinated by Ms. Elka Charles. The funds will go towards arts & crafts materials, books, and educational games.
Monday May 9th: Walk-A-Thon
New parking lot in Windwardside
Walk-A-Thon to promote walking as a healthy life style. Everybody is welcome to join.
From the new parking lot in Windwardside to the Zions Hill Community Center.
Thursday May 12th: Church Service
Roman Catholic Church, The Bottom
Join the ecumenical service to celebrate and commemorate our past, present and future nurses.
We are looking forward to celebrate these events together with you!
